30 Dúos Fundamentales es una propuesta metodológica diseñada para el aprendizaje de la lectura musical mediante la interpretación de dúos rítmicos. Este material permite un trabajo colaborativo entre el estudiante y su tutor, y puede adaptarse a diversos instrumentos. La obra plantea una progresión técnica que va desde el nivel básico hasta el intermedio, enfocándose en la consolidación de figuras rítmicas esenciales. Al centrarse en las bases rítmicas fundamentales, reserva los elementos de alta complejidad técnica (como redobles o grupos irregulares) para un segundo volumen especializado en percusión.
